The Kaleidoscope of Grief

helps facilitate self-exploration, utilizing art and writing therapy
along with a four-character story theme. "This book is awesome," said
Kimberly. "I had a chance to talk about my deep, deep feelings that I
never told anyone else."
The book, to be released July of 2000, is now available for orders. The
requested donation price is $5.00 plus $1.50 shipping to:

Project for Kids
Children are often the overlooked grievers in the family. Many parents, overcome with their own grief, find it difficult to help, understand, or communicate about the death of their loved one with the child. Based on a recent survey by the MISS Foundation, more than 60% of the families noticed a behavior change in the surviving children.
The MISS Foundation is beginning a new program for bereaved kids. If you are interested in participating, call Joanne Cacciatore at 623-979-1000 for more information or email the foundation at joanne@missfoundation.org
Requirements for Program:
- Six month commitment of two meetings per month
- Ages 6-17
- Children should be emotionally able to be away for one and a half days at a camp
- Parents must be willing to help the program help their child
- Pre-assessment and post-assessment interviews
The program is no cost to those who meet the above requirements.
