Heart is a gentle loving sheep rescued in March of 2024. She is named after philanthropist, peace activist and bereaved mother Heart Arlyn. She is love embodied. Heart was destined to be sold at the market and sold as meat due to her declining ability produce offspring. The owner would breed his sheep and sell the lambs for slaughter to be eaten.
Despite her years of being used only to bred and having her babies continually torn from her side by her “owner”, Heart very quickly opened herself up to human love after arriving at the Carefarm. She is one of the few sheep that seeks out affection from humans when she sees them.
Heart was rescued with her last lamb that she birthed, Joaquin Phoenix, who was destined to be an Easter lamb meal. She will live out her days with her precious son by her side.
