Named after renowned Vegan activist and bereaved brother Joaquin Phoenix, Joaquin narrowly escaped the fate of many lambs-being sold and slaughtered for an Easter meal. Joaquin is a handsome wether that enjoys being scratched and pet as long as his mother is nearby. His start with humans as a lamb was not a loving environment so he follows his mom’s lead on what human interaction feels safe. Joaquin is a playful boy and has earned the affection and love of his auntie sheep Bella, Dolly Mama and Porcelina. As he has grown and gained his confidence we see him interacting and playfully head butt sparring with the goats as well.
