I am a licensed clinical social worker who works with individuals, families and children on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. I am trained in various therapeutic interventions but often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Trauma Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as my “go to base practice”. I find I do a lot of grief counseling and feel very comfortable relating to other’s who are experiencing grief and losses in any form. I feel a calling to do more or this and gain more knowledge and insight. Loss is a part of our living and we all need perspective and understanding as to how to cope and rationalize it. I am hoping that I can participate in your program to again more in in depth understanding of bereavement.
