Dr. Kay L. Fontana, Ed.D

Kay Fontana, Ed.D. is a Licensed Spiritual Practitioner, Certified Grief Recovery Specialist, and Certified Holistic Health and Wellness Coach. She completed her doctoral dissertation on Mindfulness and Compassion: A Phenomenological Study of Hospice Dementia Care Volunteers which served to explore the lived experiences of mindfulness, compassion fatigue, and compassion satisfaction among the study’s participants. Her experience includes hospice care, critical incident stress, pastoral/spiritual care, volunteer administration, and working with individuals and families experiencing grief and loss.
