Kristin Drouin

As a private practice therapist, I specialize in supporting individuals with complex medical conditions and/or life-limiting illnesses and their families. With a background in palliative care, hospice and grief counseling, I am adept at providing therapeutic support to children, adolescents, and adults – and their families – throughout the illness trajectory, from diagnosis to death and bereavement, and anywhere in between. I also specialize in grief counseling with a particular focus on supporting parents who have experienced the death of a young child (from perinatal loss through young adulthood), as well as the child’s sibling(s). The time-limited support groups I offer for both of these populations are open to the community, regardless of whether I am seeing participants for individual or family counseling.

All therapy is currently being provided as telehealth, such that I can see clients who live anywhere in the state of Massachusetts. To ensure clients feel supported in the virtual environment, minimum age is 13 years old.
