Sarah Henderson, MSW, LMSW
If you have experienced the loss of a loved one or are a survivor of abuse/assault, it can feel as if the ground beneath you has shattered, along with many other aspects of your life. Allow me to help you feel grounded and safe again, while connecting to yourself and the world once more.
I will provide a safe and sacred space for you to process your grief and/or trauma. I truly feel that everyone has the capacity to heal themselves within.
I believe the therapeutic relationship is the channel for healing, and I view my role as walking this journey alongside you, rather than leading the way.
I am a Licensed Master of Social Work. I specialize in traumatic grief and trauma related to abuse or assault. My approaches include person-centered therapy, mindfulness, and existential analysis. I am certified in Compassionate Bereavement Care and have attended multiple international seminars in existential analysis and logotherapy.
I see my role as a therapist as an absolute honor, to be able to bear witness to the strength of the human spirit and share in the sacredness of my client’s stories. This is not something ever taken lightly, and I look forward to working with you.
