Shannon Stemm Patel

I am a recent MSW graduate. I am currently working in case management for Bank of America Human Resources. I provide practical and emotional support and process benefits due to survivors whose have a family member that recently died. I also regularly volunteer for Portland’s Trauma Intervention program. We are called out by fire, police, EMS to provide practical and emotional support for survivors of tragedies (typically a loved one has died unexpectedly). Within the next year I plan to move to a medical social work position where I can begin work on my licensure.
