Terry Wohlberg, MA, LMFT
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist practicing in West Los Angeles and via Telehealth. I am a clinical instructor at the UCLA Women’s Life Center, an outpatient clinic specializing in women’s reproductive mental health. I have served as the California Regional Coordinator for Postpartum Support International, an organization dedicated to providing support, education and resources to women, families, providers, and the larger community. I am currently a West Los Angeles Support Coordinator.
I specialize in women’s mental health and women’s reproductive mental health (depression and anxiety during pregnancy and the postpartum period, traumatic birth experience, perinatal loss, and infertility). I also have experience and a special interest in helping adults with anxiety, depression, loss and grief, past trauma, and insomnia.
I am collaborative in my work and integrates a variety of therapeutic approaches into my practice: supportive psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) including exposure response prevention (ERP), psychodynamic psychotherapy, mindfulness-based therapy, trauma resiliency model (TRM), eye movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR) and reflective parenting.
My work reaffirms my belief in the resilience and tenacity of the human spirit, even in situations that seem overwhelming. I strive to create a safe, comfortable environment and provide compassionate, collaborative treatment that is tailored to meet your unique needs and goals.
