I’m an educator by profession, working in the school design space creating learning experiences for adults in the form of retreats and convenings. In my personal life, I was a caregiver to my father for 11 years and he lost his battle with terminal heart disease this April. As a caregiver, I became an expert in geriatric-care managing as I was able to navigate nyc systems and structures that served as constraints for my father’s care. I’m now performing this function (free of charge) by referral for families and caregivers that are in need of project management and navigation assistance of care for their loved ones that require sustained long term care and more transparent translation of/access to services.
