Jennifer Correll

We became involved with the MISS Foundation after the loss of our son, Jesse, at 33 weeks of pregnancy. After learning that we would receive a death certificate but not a birth certificate, I began searching for the “why” and how to change this outcome as I didn’t think it was right to receive one and not the other. Randomly my search came across Mandy Ford’s name and that she was working to push a bill through in the state of Iowa for a Certificate of Birth Resulting in Stillbirth. I then learned that she was part of The MISS Foundation and knew that I’d found a great source of support and strength.
